The Design Review is a focused working session for clients who value decisive direction and design experience. The time together can be used to review layouts, assess options, and talk through what’s possible across architecture, furnishings, and finishes—so decisions feel intentional, aligned, and ready to move forward without regret.

You bring the questions. We bring the experience.

Questions. Answered.

How does a Design Review work?

How does a Design Review work?

How does a Design Review work?

Design Reviews are focused working sessions, held either via video or in person depending on the level selected. There’s no formal presentation or rigid agenda—this is real-time, thoughtful guidance centered on your space, your questions, and the decisions in front of you.

The time is used to review layouts, explore options, and discuss what’s possible at the current stage of your project.

How should I prepare for the session?

How should I prepare for the session?

How should I prepare for the session?

Preparation can be minimal or detailed—it’s entirely up to you.
Some clients arrive with photos, drawings, inspiration, or a clear list of questions. Others come knowing they want perspective but aren’t sure where to start. Both approaches are welcome.

Prior to your session, you’ll receive a brief intake form to share any relevant details, images, or questions so we can make the most of our time together. If you’re unsure what to bring, we’ll guide the conversation.

What can I expect from the session?

What can I expect from the session?

Design Reviews are focused, working sessions centered on your space, your questions, and the decisions in front of you. We use the time to review layouts, talk through options, and bring perspective to what’s possible before moving forward.

You can expect thoughtful guidance around space planning, materials, color, furniture direction, and overall approach. In some cases, we may reference specific pieces or sources to illustrate a recommendation—but Design Reviews are not intended to finalize full selections, specifications, or procurement.

Think of this as high-level design direction: clarity, confidence, and next steps—so you can move forward well, whether on your own or with a larger scope of work.

Design Reviews often include:
  • Layout and flow
  • Renovation or new-build decisions
  • Materials, finishes, and fixtures
  • Furniture and lighting strategy
  • Prioritization and sequencing
  • Second opinions before committing

If you’re unsure whether something is a fit, it usually is.

Will I receive drawings or a full design plan?

Will I receive drawings or a full design plan?

No. The Design Review is not a replacement for full-service design.

You’ll leave with direction, insight, and a clearer path forward—not a full set of deliverables. That distinction is intentional.

Will you recommend products or sources?

Will you recommend products or sources?

When relevant, yes.

Recommendations are based on experience and taste and may include materials, brands, or general direction—not a prescribed shopping list.

More than most clients expect.

Because this work is what I do every day, we’re able to get to the heart of a space quickly. Clients often leave feeling grounded, focused, and confident about next steps.

Design Reviews are non-refundable, as time is reserved specifically for you.
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. Changes made within 48 hours of the scheduled session will result in forfeiture of the design fee.

Three little words? I get it.

I currently live in Atlanta and raised three active kids (now adults...in their 20s) while running an interior design firm. I know firsthand what it takes to create a home that’s functional and inspired—one that looks beautiful, lives well, and actually reflects the people who live there.

After years working on full-scale remodels, new  custom builds, and my own brick-and-mortar business, I saw a consistent need: clients who have strong instincts and a point of view, but want a seasoned eye to help refine decisions and move things forward with confidence.

If you’ve handled the big picture but want clarity around the next steps—or you’re navigating multiple decisions and want to ensure they’re aligned—the Design Review offers focused, thoughtful guidance. No formulas. No fluff. Just perspective, direction, and momentum when it matters most.

a home you love, designed for how you really want to live is a thing—and we can help you get there.

"Knowing I was buying the right thing (and finding a few others I wouldn't have found on my own) made it so easy."
